What Makes Us Unique
Currently, Associations between 2 units and 264 units are under management, with the average Association size being 30 units. We have no policy regarding minimum size of Association.
If we are able to work together in helping your Board manage the Association, you are important to us regardless of your Association size.
Beven & Brock is actively managed by the two founding partners, Fin Beven and David Brock, who are involved in the day–to-day management of the company. Both are easily accessible by e-mail or phone…. and you can expect a prompt response from us, either the same or the next day. This is true regardless of your
involvement with the company… as a Board member or homeowner. The company was built on the important principle of doing the right thing for our clients, day in and day out. It has paid off well for us, and there is no reason to make a change now.
In addition, Beven & Brock is committed to advancing their professional development through on-going educational opportunities for its staff. We are members of the two primary trade organizations involved in homeowner Association management. Both organizations (CACM and CAI) offer voluntary credential and designation programs. The links to these trade organizations are available on our links page. All of the Association managers at Beven & Brock are expected to be certified, exceeding the requirements in California. Other management companies may not hold to such high standards.
As certified managers, we are expected to participate each year in on-going training, as well as subscribe to a code of ethics. Continuing education is critically important, as each year there are new laws that impact the requirements of your Association and this industry.
What services does Beven & Brock provide to its clients?
The Association management services provided by Beven & Brock are generally divided into three broad categories. Those three areas are accounting, maintenance, and administrative. A brief description of the three is:
Without a management company assisting the Board of Directors, it is very easy for the Board to become overwhelmed with the task of serving as a volunteer Board member.
Most Associations retain Beven & Brock for all three areas above, however it is possible to utilize our services for just accounting, or just accounting and administrative services.
